Have you ever thought.
Dear Doctor
Have you ever thought about how you come across to somebody? A patient is sitting there in front of you and you have to diagnose (generally - I know psychiatry is much longer) in ten or fifteen minutes exactly what the problem is.
Not everybody is comfortable with coming to see a doctor. There may be many different reasons for this. For example, some people don’t want to “annoy” the doctor with their problems. But the fact is, unless they COME to you for help, there is no way for you to know there is an issue.
Yes, I do realise that the patient is expected to come to the doctor, but do you think there is some/any way to help them feel more comfortable doing so?
Hoping for some ideas
Yours
